Proposed further letter which I felt I ought not to send without leave of the German Section

The German Section of the W.I.L.P.F. is sending workers & speakers into Upper Silesia to work for conciliation & peace. They are inviting the Polish Section to do the same and to work jointly with them. They hope to be able to hold meetings in both the German & Polish languages. Unfortunately such an active campaign of hate has been, & is being, waged that those who try to create a spirit of peace or goodwill instead may find it hard to get a hearing; but with representatives of both sides working together something may be possible. At any rate the women feel it is worth trying.
