Dear [Miss] Addams

I am hoping to start a home in Holland, & use it myself, for ↑some of↓ the children in Germany whose parents will not let them come with the crowds alone & I am hoping to have some Americans to help me. If you know any [page 2] Germans in America, near you, who would send me some help I should be so glad of it as Dutch houses, I find, are expensive. It will be a small party at first & home life, to bring about the spirit of reconciliation by personal work & contact. I will send accounts of all [I find?].
