Dear Miss Addams:

The second Thursday, which was selected as the monthly meeting date of the Board of Directors of Survey Associates, has proved impossible this month. Mr. DeForest will be away on that day, and it falls so early -- December [9] -- that we shall not have our books closed.

Will you, therefore, please let me know what afternoon of next week at four o'clock (the week of December 13-18) will be most convenient for you?

I am writing to all members of the Board and the meeting will be called for the day on which the largest number can attend.

Sincerely yours,

Secretary Survey Associates, Inc.

Miss Jane Addams
