Dearest Marcet

Your letter came at last and was forwarded to me in N.Y. where I am attending some Peace meetings. I leave for Phila. tomorrow and a week later Mary Smith visits me and we go to Florida [page 2] together. I will keep you supplied with our addresses so that if you change your mind in regard to having an old aunt about at [a] crucial moment, Manuel can telegraph us. We would stay at the hotel and proffer comfort when it was wanted. [page 3]

Your letter sounds as if you were well and in good spirits for the great adventure awaiting you. I am sure all is coming out well.

Please give my love to Manuel, and to you Dear. Always your devotedly loving aunt
