My dear Miss Wald:

I understand that Miss Jane Addams is to return tomorrow and it would give me a great deal of pleasure to see her upon her return if I can do so after my return to Washington. I am afraid it is impossible to manage it here with convenience to both of us. Will you not be kind enough to let me know just how long Miss Addams' stay in New York is likely to be?

Cordially and sincerely yours,

Woodrow Wilson [signed]

Miss Lillian Wald,
Henry Street Settlement,
New York City.
