To the Members of the International Committee
of Research Nr. I.

Dear Miss Addams. --

By the present I beg to hand you three copies of the Questionary sent to you some days ago, enclosing an explanatory letter with it. Equally in the name of your President you are requested to have these copies distributed with or without explanatory letter, according to your own opinion amongst individuals whom you know and whose advice in this matter you would care to have, asking them to be good enough to send their answers to me before October March 1rst. next. I will take good care that they be sent to your President Th. Baron Adelswärd, Åtvidaberg, Sweden, in due course. --

Would you kindly let me know as soon as possible the names of those to whom you are sending Questionaries in order to prevent that the same person receives a second copy from the president himself. --

I also enclose an English translation of a letter, which the president, Baron Th. Adelswärd, sent you some time ago. --

Yours truly,

B. de Jong van Beek en Donk. [signed]
Hon. Secretary. --
