My dear Miss Addams:

In answer to your letter of February 7th, I think it would be wise to have as large a meeting as we can get and to have it convene as soon as possible.

Could we not have the largest mass meeting of women ever held, as well as to have the Executive Board meet?

I should prefer Chicago as the place of meeting, but will make it a point to adjust myself to the time and place you decide upon.

We are having a mass meeting in St. Louis tomorrow evening.

Very cordially yours,

Florence G. Taussig [signed]

Miss Jane Addams,
Room 500, 116 S. Michigan Avenue,
Chicago.
