My dear Mrs Karsten

May I tell you how much I admire the material you prepared for the 22d of Feb'y! I corrected my part of the senate hearing and am returning it to you for filing with the other Washington reports.

There is more splendid material against military drill in the public schools in the back of David Starr Jordan's "War and the Breed." I will ask Mrs Bowen to give you my copy when she finishes with it. I am still in bed but much better. Faithfully yours, Jane Addams
