Mr. Theodore R. Knutsen,

San Antonio, Texas.

My dear Sir: --

Your letter to Miss Addams has been received. Miss Addams is still in Europe, and we do not know when she will return. She would be the one who would need to consider your suggestion, so far as the Woman's Peace Party is concerned.

May I suggest that you send your letter to Mrs. May Wright Sewall, who is President of the International Conference of Women Workers to Promote Peace, that is to be held in San Francisco on July 7th, and to which you refer.

I am enclosing to you some statements in regard to the Woman's Peace Party that will show, that while we are in hearty sympathy with that Conference, it is a different organization.

Thanking you for your interest, and for your suggestion, I am

Yours cordially,

Acting Ex. Secy.
