Tuesday

Dear dear Miss Addams

I confronted the Mayor with my limitations and he took me for the Board of Education with them!

It came to seem to me that if I [page 2] could be given an interim, I ought to give my small contribution to the Board of Education if you thought it worth that. I hope it will prove right. I shall take it [page 3] this year as practically no [outside] work and if it doesn't work in the end it will be a simple matter to slip out.

The main thing to me was that you [page 4] thought it worth doing so.

And more than all I hope that I may give my strength to the cause and justify your belief that would be a benefit.

Yours always,

Anita Blaine
