HULL-HOUSE,
335 SOUTH HALSTED STREET,
CHICAGO.

My dear Mrs Blaine

May I bring Miss Haley to lunch on Tuesday and shall we come at one o'clock?

I am sure that you will be interested in her, and will admire her pluck and energy.

May I also write about Hull-House finances [although] I always hate to do it? I am afraid that we have come to [page 2] count upon your goodly contribution of five hundred dollars a year toward the industrial classes. If it would be convenient for you to send it this month instead of later, it would help out our depleted treasury very much. The classes have never been so large and flourishing and the product is constantly more [encouraging]. Faithfully yours

Jane Addams
