I am sure that you will be interested in her, and will admire her pluck and energy.
May I also write about Hull-House finances [although] I always hate to do it? I am afraid that we have come to [page 2] count upon your goodly contribution of five hundred dollars a year toward the industrial classes. If it would be convenient for you to send it this month instead of later, it would help out our depleted treasury very much.
