Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Illinois.
My dear Miss Addams,
Our long delayed letters, asking the persons suggested for membership on the National Advisory Council, to serve, are at last being mailed. I am writing to ask you whether you would lend us your help in forming the Council by communicating personally with Mr. Manley O. Hudson and Prof. [Schevill].
We want very much to have the Council ready to help with the plans for the International Congress and hope to receive favorable answers from a large enough number to be able to print the names on our [letterheads].
With best wishes to the New Year, I am,
Very sincerely,
SOPHIA H. DULLES,
Associate Secretary.
