Miss Jane Addams,

Dear Madam;

The sum of $300 has been raised by Japanese in New York to help enable Miss Takizawa to go to Vienna to attend the Third Biennial Congress of the League.

I am enclosing a check for this amount, which was contributed by the Japanese Women's Association of New York, Mr. Zenjuro Horikoshi, Mr. Masano Kobayashi and the Japanese Bankers Club.

At the suggestion of Miss Mabel Hyde Kittredge of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, I am making the check payable to you.

Sincerely yours,
