THE STATE BANK OF GIRARD
GIRARD, KANSAS

Dearest Auntie:

This is just a hasty line to tell you how eagerly we are looking forward to your visit next week. July seems to be our lucky month as our book is, at last, practically finished (and, incidentally, I feel as if I were, too!). We can now easily get it pointed up and the good copies made by the thirtieth, Manuel's birthday, when we will mail it with much state. Let us know when and where to meet you -- here or in Pittsburg or Mulberry whichever you find is the most convenient. The Frisco that leaves Kansas City about eight something in the morning, connecting with the six P.M. Burlington from Chicago, is a good quick train and gets here at one twenty P.M.

Heaps of love to you from each and all of us.

Marcet [signed]

Saturday.
