My dear Mrs Blaine

We are to have a little meeting of the Nurses Ass'n, the settlement folk and a few others at the rooms of the Bureau of Charities ↑(Unity Bld'g)↓ on Monday at four o'clock, to consider the Board of Health's Civil Service trial and the advisability of getting together our material.

The meeting will not be a public one but I hope will prove suggestive.

I should be so glad if you could come. [page 2]

Mr Bicknell and the others want to help but are a little doubtful of the case with which their material has been gathered.

Hoping that you may be able to come I am always faithfully yours

Jane Addams
