12 WEST WALTON PLACE
My dear Myra
I came over here last evening for the first time since my return and found the dear little birthday cake you had sent.
I can't think of a nicer present and I quite saw Jane taking the bite! Thank you so much.
I find that your Aunt has gone to New York, "probably for the rest of the [time]" so [page 2] that of course I have not had a chance to see her as I had hoped. Do write me as your plans develop in your mind [although] I hope at the present moment that you are resting so thoroughly that you are not even planning.
Please give my love to your mother & to Jane -- Always your devoted Aunt Jane A.

P.S.
Not a word from Stanley, do you think he has sailed yet?
