I am an admirer of Mrs Addams work in charity and social work, and think very highly of her and was reading the paper was [awful] sorry to hear her being sick. I hope she will soon recover as a city like Chicago needs her and I know there are hundreds of others sorry to hear of her being sick. Send her my deep sympathy and I wish her a speedy recovery. I have read so much of her good work and also of your good work.
