March 18th, 1916.

My dear Miss Patten:

Your letter to Miss Addams has been referred to this office in her absence and we are very glad to know of your interest in the subject of arbitration and of your definite suggestion in reference to the settlement of the war.

I am sending you under separate cover a copy of a pamphlet, which we have distributed very widely this year, by Miss Julia Grace Wales, "Continuous Mediation Without Armistice," I am sure you will be interested in this. I am also sending a copy of the recent Hearing of Miss Addams' before the House Committee on Military Affairs.

Sincerely yours,

Office Secretary

Miss Elizabeth Patten,
Torrington, Wyoming.
