My dear Miss Holmes,
Miss Wallace has asked me to write you concerning her work at Alta House. It gives me great pleasure to endorse her. As a member of the Alta House Board, I feel that the change made last Spring was most unfortunate, and [page 2] it will take months of hard effort to raise the present condition, to the standard of Miss Smith and Miss Wallace, who were both most faithful and efficient workers.
