Frankfort, Ky.

My dear Miss Addams:

We have rec'd literature from the National Peace Party which the school superintendent refuses to have distributed in the schools alleging that it is contrary to the present policy of the government as preparedness is now being urged. What shall we do? The people here seem averse in the agitation of the Peace question saying "At this time Peace is not possible or advisable." Please write me a few lines and tell me how to proceed under the existing conditions. Sincerely,

Mrs. Clay Hatchett,
President of W. P. Party,
Frankfort, Ky.
