Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Ill.

My dear Miss Addams:

This is to let you know that your copy furnished for the Progressive Cause, which came to my desk some time ago, has since been sent to our list of newspapers throughout the country and has appeared under black and light-faced headlines on editorial and on first pages galore.

I really believe we are getting more publicity with our authors' stuff than any of the other Party press bureaus with their paid advertisements and contributive matter together. Newspaper men all over the country are paying very high tribute to the excellence of this material, and it is only fair you should know how the matter is being welcomed.

Many thanks for what you have done for the Cause.

Yours Sincerely,

Will Irwin [signed]
