Dear Mrs. Kohn

We were delighted to have your news of Waukegan and the boys. Miss Addams and I are so disappointed that you did not come to see us.

If you should find that you could still get away wouldn't you telegraph us to Bar Harbor [page 2] and take a train. We shall be quite tidy and all right for guests until the 18th, and we'd love to see you. Do come up if you can.

Affectionately yours

Mary Rozet Smith.

Miss Addams sends her love and many thanks for your letter.
