Miss Jane Addams,

My dear Miss Addams,

On behalf of the Progressive National Committee, I wish to extend an invitation to you to be present at the Chicago Conference, December 10th and 11th. We are inviting to meet with the National Committee, all Progressive State Chairmen, the Progressive Candidates for Governor at the recent election, all Progressive Congressmen elect, and some of the Progressive leaders in the various States. The meeting promises to be a historic occasion.

So that we can make proper arrangements for the meeting, I wish you would write me whether you can be with us.

Hoping that you will be able to attend, I am,

Very truly yours,
