If the next week will be convenient for you I will plan to come [July] 29th Tuesday and stay until Thursday or Friday if I may. I will take the train leaving here at 11.30.
Mrs Kelley will be at H. H. this week, Elsie Smith is to be married (still a secret) Giovinniti spoke in Bowen Hall Saturday evening [etc etc?] almost like a winter schedule-- How vain and [page 2] trifling it all seems when one has been in the presence of death, I well know. I hope our hottest weather is over, and that you are having a chance for a little rest. I do want to see you at once, very much. With my love to your father
