My dear Judge Lindsey: --

I have had various letters from Colorado in regard to Mrs. Wixon, and the enclosed telegram seems to be signed by people important in the educational world.

I have today telegraphed Mr. Costigan. Could you do anything in regard to the matter? It does seem, as we have been saying for so many years, that national politics ought to be separated from matters of this sort, and it seems a pity that the Progressive Party should be put in a false position.
