Henry James, Jr. to Jane Addams, January 12, 1912

95 Irving St.
Jan 12 -- 12

Dear Miss Addams:

I have been away for a week and on my return find your kind letter of January 2nd enclosing copies of my father's letters. I'm very glad indeed to have these and do not think it will be necessary for me to ask you to send the originals. I suppose you will [preserve] them.

I passed your letter on to my mother, who asks [page 2] me to thank you for your message. With warmest regards from her, in which I would join.

Gratefully Yours

Henry James Jr.
