My dear Mrs. Robins:

May I thank Mr. Robins and yourself for the delicious box of oranges which came a week ago and which have brought great joy in their train and much gratitude to the kind donors. You were very kind to think of us and I am sure you know that we are very appreciative.

Mary Smith and I are planning a short journey to Mexico this spring, but I am sure we will find no fruit equal to yours.

Always devotedly yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
