My Dear Miss Addams:--On my return to the City today a note of November 17th from Mrs. Blaine is given me which speaks of certain expenses incurred by Mr. Ball and possibly another, which you were to authorize, in their journey to St. Louis concerning the municipal exhibits.
When the statement of these expenses is ready will you kindly send it to me and I will mail you or Mr. Ball and others checks for the Association. I am,
