My dear Mrs Rich:

I think of you very often and should be very grateful for a line telling us how you like the Women's Voters League and how it is developing. The situation of the eastern women (many of whom, in the English colonies, have the vote) is very bewildering but always interesting.

This French ship stopped for three days in Saigon which was rather disconcerting as April is a [precious] month in South China and we are spending a good deal of it on the sea. Singapore was our port nearest the equator of which I am sending a postal to Mr Rich who may be interested in its [enormous] shipping. Always devotedly yours Jane Addams
