It surely did my heart good to read your interview in Sundays Herald on the Italian colony -- and it will do you no harm to tell you. The matter was handled so clearly -- and so absolutely on the square that it is bound to be enlightening and beneficial. Several of Fogazzaro's books are in my library and I have particularly enjoyed "The Saint," and naturally the question has been of interest to me. Your interview was most timely -- and I feel personally grateful to you.
