May 23, 1907.

Dear Miss Addams,

Miss Garrett and I hope very much that you will spend the night with us when you come to speak at the College on June 17. If it suits your plans, we shall be delighted to have you spend Sunday, the 16th, with us. We are very anxious to see you, both for your own sake and because there is something we wish to have an opportunity of talking over with you.

We called at the Plaza Hotel during the Peace Conference, as Miss Garrett arranged with you, but we reached there just after you had left.

Very sincerely yours,

Miss Jane Addams.
