Charles R. Crane has decided to remain in Petrograd for some weeks to come. When we left he asked me to bring you the shawl I sent you by express today, accompanied by the [card] he wrote.
We had a wonderful experience which I shall be glad to tell you about whenever I have the opportunity of seeing you. As I am just taking the train for Washington I am leaving this note to be signed for me.
