Dearest --

Your letter came this morning and brought comfort to us all. It is strange that you should be the one to comfort us but it is just like you and fills me again with the admiration I have had for you dear [through] all these long years. You must have the solace of your wise and faithful motherhood quite the wisest I have ever known. Do come to H. H as soon as you can. You know how we all long for you.

Always yrs  J. A.
