My dear Mrs. Jensen:

I have just returned from the Annual Meeting at Washington and I want to tell you about the receipt of your cable. I was with Miss Addams when it was received and know what a pleasure it was to her to get this message from the President of the Woman's Peace Army.

I am enclosing a Program of our meetings and also a Program of a Conference of Oppressed or Dependent Nationalities held under the auspices of the Woman's Peace Party immediately following our own meetings. The meetings and the Conference were both very successful both as to numbers in attendance and as to the enthusiasm shown. Your message was read in the Mass Meeting on Sunday evening at the Belasco Theatre. This building was crowded to the limit by an enthusiastic audience and your message was received with great applause.

I think you will be interested also to know that our National Secretary was [authorized] to send a message to the women of Australia congratulating them upon their vote against conscription.

With your permission I shall send you from time to time material as it is publication in this office. I am sure you will be interested in knowing what is being done on this side of the ocean.

Sincerely yours,

Office Secretary

Mrs. [Clio] Jensen,
