Doctor Barton is at present attending the National Council at New Haven, but I am sure I express his feelings when I thank you very sincerely for your kind words about THE ADVANCE. I understand the obligations under which you must labor and realize that you do not care to assume any more at present. If some day the outlook clears a little you may find something on hand which you have already prepared which will just suit our needs, and then I am sure you will remember us.
