How shall I thank you for your beautiful book? You certainly would have been gratified if you would have seen how rapturously it was received by Mrs. Steiner & the Steinerettes. Henry York is reading it now. I shall as soon as I can get hold of it.

I trust that the rich spirit embodied in the book will be communicated to all those who read it, 

(Tolstoy is gone -- perhaps even Mr. Roosevelt "will garnish his Tomb.")
