PERMANENT PEACE
NATIONAL OFFICE
ROOM 1506, 116 S. MICHIGAN AVE.
CHICAGO

March 18th, 1918.

TO THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD:

The Peoples Council of America for Democracy and Peace is sending out a call for a National Conference on Reconstruction after the war, to be held in New York City shortly after May 1st, at which special consideration is to be given to the question of Universal Military Training.

A copy of this call has been received by the Woman's Peace Party with the request that we send an official delegate or delegates to the Conference, or else authorize some member or members to attend the conference in an individual, unofficial capacity, so that an accurate personal report on the conference may afterward be made to the Woman's Peace Party.

I shall be very grateful if you would write me soon, your opinion in reference to sending such a delegate or an official representative to attend the conference.

Very sincerely yours,

Executive Secretary.
