Dear Miss Addams,

At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Progressive Committee, held on Dec. 19th, in New York, a Progressive Service was established in charge of a committee to which you were elected to membership. The other members of the committee are:

Samuel McCune Lindsay, Columbia University, New York
William D. Lewis, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa.
Mr. Gifford Pinchot, New York City
Mr. Charles S. Bird, Boston, Mass.
Mr. George L. Record, Jersey City, N.J.

A meeting of the Progressive Service Committee is hereby called for Thursday, Jan. 9th, at the Progressive Headquarters at the Hotel Manhattan at 2:30 P. M. for the purpose of formulating plans, discussing committees and submitting a budget to the Executive Committee which will meet in New York on Friday, Jan. 10th.

This will be a most important meeting and I hope you will find it possible to attend.
