My heartfelt thanks, I extend to you for the stand you made in seconding <ex>President Roosevelt's nomination.

By that act you embodied the logical conclusion of all the efforts [page 2] of women since the republic began.

You do not know what you are to the women who follow your leadership.

The endorsement of woman suffrage by the Progressive Party has brought to women a joy that is second only to the perfect satisfaction when justice awards them the ballot. [page 3]
