I have yours of May 5th, and shall be glad to read your article in "Charities and The Commons".
Having seen in the newspapers that you had written the article on the Averbuch case, and being myself a subscriber to the magazine, I had fully intended to read it.
It is true I have felt that the attitude toward our police authorities of some of my friends was open to objection; but this fact would make me only the more please to read your views. I have never failed to find myself interested in whatever you have written or spoken.
