My dear Miss Addams:

Your letter of the 9th inst is just at hand and I am very glad indeed to know that you could accept the invitation to speak before the General Federation of Women's Clubs.

You will greatly enjoy the experience of speaking before the Bonneville Club in Salt Lake City. It is made up of the most influential men of the community and has had the most distinguished men and women as its speakers.

I have written to a number of organizations in Colorado and in California and hope that some dates will be the result. In every case I have suggested that they communicate with you at Hull House or at Colorado Springs or Riverside. I shall assume that you will keep to your original schedule unless you let me know to the contrary. I note that there is a possibility of your going by way of El Paso. I shall be glad if you will let me know of the isolated dates which you fill as it often gives me suggestions as to further service which you may perform.

With best wishes, I am

Cordially yours,

Director Speaking Division
