Dear Lady

I was interrupted in the midst of a letter to you and our dear J. A. got an executive fit and stamped and sent it off, unbeknownst to me. We have had a lovely quiet Sunday here and I think gentle Jane is quite refreshed. [page 2] We hope you are coming west next month and we are both longing to see you with deep affection.
