February
Nineteenth
1917
My dear Mrs. Spiegel:
Miss Addams left this morning for New York and before she left she asked me to answer your very kind letter of February 12th.
I note that you are particularly interested in the question of the draft section of the army bill and I am enclosing a copy of a bill which has just been introduced to repeal this section. I am sure it would be a very good thing to bring as much pressure to bear as possible upon the Congressmen to get this bill through and perhaps you can help along this line.
Sincerely yours,
Office Secretary
Mrs. J. B. Spiegel,
Safford, Arizona.
