Dear Lady: --

Mrs. [Katharine] Hanfstaengl whom I met at the dinner given to The Hague Committee before we went away, has since sent Hull-House a small check of $250 to be used as a sort of memorial to her son. The check came in rather a roundabout way through some people in Chicago and I haven't her address. Can you get it for me? I should like very much to write her directly.

I hope to reach Boston Sunday morning the 15th <at 1055> and will go to Mrs. Evans' House, 12 Otis Place, which seems to be the best trysting place. Can't you meet Miss Balch and myself there. We can then all go on to Bar Harbor together. Do please try to do it!

Hastily yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
