Miss Jane Addams
Hull House, Chicago.

Dear Miss Addams:--

This letter of Mr. Hosmer will explain itself. I am sure they do not need my kindly intervention because you know the good people of Minneapolis and I trust the good work Mr.  Simmons is doing, one of the dearest and the bravest of the men in our western ministry. You know how glad I am to sow you and your words throughout the west. Will you please answer Dr. Hosmer direct? Perhaps he is so modest that you may not realize even though you may have met him that he is one of the successful librarians in the country and one of the [saintly] scholars.

I hope you are well and keeping well.

Hastily yours,

Item Relations
