Miss Addams has asked me to say that her sister proposed her name as a member of the D. A. R., and paid her dues.
It never occurred to her that she would care to keep up her dues in Kansas [page 2] and as she already belongs to so many societies, has never joined here.
She hopes very much that her name will be dropped.
