GENERAL REPORT

We have distributed fourteen thousand copies of pamphlets printed in foreign languages to the various foreign colonies in the city.

2000 Swedish Pamphlets
5000 Italian [Pamphlets]
2000 Bohemian [Pamphlets]
4000 Polish [Pamphlets]
1000 Jewish [Pamphlets]

Mrs. Capron has distributed literature and posters from house to house in the country around Winnetka and has found the pamphlets printed in foreign languages of great assistance as many foreigners do not read English readily.

Five noon meetings have been held each day for a week at various places in Chicago and they have been well attended, these have been in addition to the large mass meetings held in the theaters.

A meeting has been called for Tuesday Noon, Nov. 5th, by the women actively connected with the Progressive Party to consider plans for further educational and civic work based upon the principles advocated in the Progressive Party platform.

FINANCIAL REPORT

Mrs. Medill McCormick reports that $4,200 was collected on Founder's Day last Saturday in Chicago. Small towns report successful collections also. The Madison St. & the Monroe St. Shops have taken in $1,535 in the six weeks in which they have been established. [page 5]

Mrs. Kellogg Fairbank, Financial Chairman, and her agents report funds collected to the amount of $6,838.75. This is exclusive of the collections taken at meetings or in the shops. Collections are taken at all the mass meetings by women under the direction of Mrs. John F. Bass, and large amounts have been turned in. At the Straus meeting in Arcadia Hall over $150 was collected.

Sincerely yours,

Margaret Dreier Robins. [signed]
