Dear Miss Addams: --
Replying to your letter of the 8th inst., we suggested the entry to "Jos. T. Bowen Country Club Land Waukegan $11,000.00" because the Hull House accounts already include this land at $30,000.00 in an account which has been carried since the first quarter of 1912. For that reason, we did not include the $30,000.00 again in the entries to be made under date of December 31st -- 1912.
We will keep in touch with Miss Nolan to learn when her books will be "closed" and ready for us and we will then Audit the last quarter of 1912 and submit our Report as early thereafter as possible.
