Hotel Touraine,
Boston.
My dearest--
I wrote you a long letter yesterday and stupidly sent it to Hull-House, do please rescue it.
Miss Wald arrived this morning and the [merry war] is [on] at least until the Conference is over.
My best love to you, I find the [savor] is gone out of the pine woods house if you aren't coming!
Always yrs J. A.
