February 21, 1925

My dear Dorothy Detzer:

I have just written to Mrs. Hull and [Madeleine] Doty that the Chicago Branch has invited the Convention to meet in Chicago in the spring. Of course it lies with the Board to accept or decline but I am sending this news on to you that the office may be informed with ↑of↓ all that is happening.

It is very nice to see your name from time to time on W.I.L. letters.

Hastily but affectionately yours,

Jane Addams. [signed]

P.S. I am enclosing some material which has just come in. Will you kindly acknowledge it as having been sent by me to the National office. I should think the abstract from President Coolidge's remarks might be a very good thing to use.
